2020 -- ZOOM is your friend |
If ever there was a year when we needed more awesome, this was it.
And the good folk of the South Shore stepped up. We held all of our monthly scheduled grant meetings and awarded $1000 no-strings-attached cash eleven times.
To help bring awesome ideas to life, like :
- John Adams/ Glenn Patscha and their project to live stream music from South Shore artists
- Amelia and Mike Bishop for their project to provide free coffee delivery for Health Care Workers at South Shore Regional
- Shayne Gavel and his Elvis Impersonation act
- Janice Rahme and the Free Ukulele Night project
- Helping host the Hemford Hill Music Festival
- Twelve year old filmmaker Theo Crocker for his updated video production
- Paula David and her accessible and reusable menstrual products
- The South Shore Players to help with their Virtual Christmas Production
Many thanks to everyone who pitched.
A bit shoutout to our Trustees for making the grants possible.
And to Andrew -- dude, we could not have done this without your leadership and determination to make awesome happen in the middle of a once-in-a-hundred-year pandemic.
